So I have my SB600 flash and I LOVE it. It's wonderful. The only draw back is that it goes through four AA batteries in about 150 shots. Luckily I have rechargeable batteries but it's still a pain.

You know the dog collars they use after a dog has had a surgery? Well, they're made out of the same material (just thinner) than the snap on diffusers. So I got some scissors, cut a piece the same size as the flash, and taped the sucker on. Works great and saved me $20.

The last photography shoot I had came out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. I'll be posting more from the shoot. I would right now but they're on my external hard drive, which is in my purse at the moment. I seriously don't feel like getting up at the moment.

I have another photography shoot tomorrow. This will be a senior photography shoot. I'm rather excited for this one. I've noticed I do better with single portraiture when outdoors. I used to love groups when I worked at Sears Portrait, but it's different when working in the great outdoors. I think it's a drawback to not be able to use the ground. Most people don't want to sit on the grass because generally the grass it wet from the dew. I keep just barely avoiding rain for my previous shoots. Hopefully this next one the grass will be dry enough to do a few sitting.

Since I've gotten my 50mm 1.8 lens, I've only taken it off my camera body once. And when I did take a few pictures with my 18-135mm, I was disappointed. I'm not saying that I'll never use it again, but I just love the blur and focusing ability of the 50mm.

I have two jobs for the Alumnae department at SJC so far for June. I also had a meeting with the marketing director to show my work for a possibility to get jobs from them. They liked my work and said they would be in contact with me. So cool.
